Niska Road Bridge Replacement

Constructed a new 40m span steel truss bridge over Speed River. The bridge replaced a single lane Bailey bridge with a 2 lane structure complete with a 5m wide multi-use path. To preserve the heritage of the existing bridge, the original abutment stones were incorporated into the new structure.

Sierra Bridge won the 
Ontario Public Works Association Project of the Year Award 
in the Transportation Category for our work on Niska Road and Bridge Reconstruction!
